TWO TECHNOLOGIES AWARDED ISO9001 CERTIFICATION
Horsham, Pennsylvania - August 10, 1998 - Two Technologies, Inc., a leading
manufacturer of hand held and panel mount terminals and computers, announced today it
received ISO-9001 certification . Quality Management Institute (QMI), performed the audit
and awarded Two Technologies the internationally recognized symbol of quality management
systems. The company was awarded ISO-9001 registration for performing design, development,
manufacturing, and installation and service functions.

our customers with the consistent quality our products have come to be known for, said

Two Technologies designs and manufactures fully customizable hand held and panel mount
terminals and computers for OEM customers. .

After many months of design, prototype and redesign we are proud to introduce a silicon
rubber boot for our models TechTerm, TechTerm Battery, 8045, PDS and PDS Battery. The
SB-160 is field installable in a matter of seconds and should increase ruggedness on all
models substantially. The model SB-160 boot is available from stock in yellow, black or
gray. On orders of 250 or more, custom matched colors are available. The SB-160 sells for
$26.00 and is available for shipment after May 1, 1998. Please call your sales

Shine some light on that application! In March of this year, Two Technologies introduced
two new keypad options; backlighting and an elastomeric-phosphorescent keypad. The Backlit
keypad is suggested for customers requiring a lit keypad in low light environments. The
keypad is placed over a light source which penetrates through a membrane/
elastomeric-phosphorescent keypad. The membrane keypad option is available on the 8045,
PM80, SMT and PSMT, and adds about an additional USD $90.00 to the selling price.
The elastomeric/phosphorescent keypad is designed to “glow in the dark” and for
further enhancement this keypad can be backlit. Without the backlight, the phosphorescent
keypad continues to glow until light absorbtion fades. We currently offer this option on
the SMT and PSMT units only and the associated cost for this option is an additional USD
$12.00. The phosphorescent backlit keypad is an additional USD $48.00.
