Due to its lightning fast programming mode it even can replace a gang programmer for series production - it programs EPROMs faster than you can plug them into the socket! Without adapters, it can program devices such as 8-Bit and 16-Bit EPROMs, EEPROMs, FLASH EPROMs, Zero Power RAMs, EPLDs, PICxxxx, 87xxxx and other microcontrollers. Using an adapter, it is also possible to program devices in LCC or PLCC housings.


The programmer can be connected with the cable provided to the parallel printer port of your PC, Laptop, or Notebook. An additional PC interface board is not required. When using GALEP-III on the road, you have a lot of flexibility in power supply selection - power can be supplied from the AC/DC adapter or the rechargeable battery. You can also use a standard 9 volts battery or a car power adapter. The battery compartment is located in the back of the case.


The GALEP-III programmer is easily operated from your PC, using the comfortable software with hex/binary buffer editor. Three LEDs on the case indicate the status of the programmer and its rechargeable battery, whose capacity is sufficient to program around 100 EPROMs without an external power supply.

The programmer uses flexible pin driver technology. Pins are assigned via software as an input or output, with a flexible voltage range. Therefore, to support new devices only the software must be updated. We are keeping the programmer up-to-date by implementing new devices every month.
